Common questions
What are the age groups?
We organise events for the following age groups who play separately from each other:
Paintball: Adults, Juniors (11-14-year-olds) and Mini-paintball for 8-10-year-olds
Laser Tag: Adults, 10-14-year-olds and 6-9-year-olds
For private parties of 24 or more, you can mix the ages.
What do we need to bring?
Loose-fitting clothes, trainers or lightweight boots. A thin pair of gloves and maybe a beanie hat is also useful, but not essential. (Paintball gloves are available to purchase on the day) Extra money for paintballs and refreshments. More info here
If it’s a birthday party, you can bring whatever you wish. We provide a party table (for the size of your group) undercover, so it’s up to you how little or how far you go. You may want to consider party plates, cups, a disposable tablecloth, and a birthday cake. (not forgetting the candles, matches, and knife)
How many people do we need?
You can book any number as we can accommodate up to 300 people. At Campaign, we have separate age groups and organise teams on the day of around 15-25 people per team.
- Small Groups of 1-14 will be thoughtfully matched up with other small groups.
- Medium-sized groups of 15-24 can usually play as a whole team.
- Large groups of 25+ can have there own private party or corporate event or join in and play with everyone else.
Do you have lockers?
Yes. Lockers are available to hire with a £5 refundable deposit.
When should I book?
We usually ask that you phone at least 2 weeks prior to when you want to play, however, this is not a strict rule. If there is space and you want to play at short notice, we will always try to accommodate you, but booking early will avoid disappointment. Book here
Is paintballing safe?
Yes – Paintballing is a very safe sport compared to many other sports. Our staff have considerable experience in paintball safety, and we only use the highest quality paintball equipment.
Is paintball safe for 8-10-year-olds?
Yes. We use the latest ‘low-impact’ paintballs and equipment, which successfully reduces the ‘sting’ of paintball. We also have the latest full-head goggle protection system and ‘body armour’ padded vests, which are also used to carry extra ammo.
What about Laser tag?
Laser Tag is 100% safe as the equipment only emits an infrared beam similar to a TV remote.
Campaign Paintball is one of the founding members of the UK Paintball Sports Federation (the industry’s governing body), and we are also members of the British Safety Council.
For more information, visits our Health & Safety page here.
What can we do afterwards?
Go to the Pub! Our local, ‘The Black Swan’ is only 400 yards away: with a beer garden out front and excellent food, it’s where you’ll find us after a hard day! We also have some other local restaurants and nightlife we can recommend. Our paintball park is within easy access of South West London, The M25 (5 mins by car from A3), Guildford (10 mins) and Woking (15 mins).
Are you fully insured?
Yes, all customers are fully covered by our comprehensive public liability paintball insurance.
How do I organise Pizza?
Just work out how many pizzas you need and add the order to the final balance payment of your booking, which is due 7 days before your day.
The large Domino’s pizzas have 10 slices, and depending on how old the children are; we normally suggest 3-4 slices per person.
Large Margarita £16.99
Large Pepperoni £18.68
Medium Vegan Margarita £16.49
Medium Gluten-free Margarita £13.49
What clothing do you provide and does it fit all sizes?
Our purpose-made camouflage overalls cover all sizes from small to XXXL. They are freshly laundered daily.
I’m not sure how many players I have, but I want to book now so that I don’t miss out on the date I want. What should I do?
You can make a provisional booking now (paying a deposit) with an estimated number of people. You can then add additional players onto your booking up until a week before when we require the balance and any food options.
Do you cancel due to the weather?
Our Paintball & Laser Tag equipment is designed for outdoor use, so we carry on in all weather. We provide each group with a reserved party table and forest shelter, and in the winter, we have a pagoda with seats and a friendly big log fire. When playing, you are mainly under the canopy of the trees, offering protection from the worst of any rain. If the forecast is VERY wet, maybe bring a set of spare clothes for the journey home.
What happens if a person doesn’t turn up on the day and I have already paid for them?
All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. However, credits can be carried forward and used for a future visit.
What happens on the day
On arrival, our friendly staff will greet you, issue you with all your equipment and clothing and show you to your reserved table. What is Low-impact paintball?
Low-impact paintball
Low-impact paintball is a gentler version of the classic paintball game that uses markers with lower power and smaller paintballs. This variation of paintball is characterised by its reduced impact, making it a more comfortable and less painful experience for players.
This type of paintball is ideal for those new to the sport, or for those seeking a less intense and less painful experience. The markers used in low-impact paintball fire paintballs at a slower speed, around 220 feet per second, which reduces the impact felt by players when they get hit.
Low-impact paintball is also a great option for younger players or those who prefer a more playful and relaxed game. The smaller paintballs used in this variation of paintball are less likely to cause injury or damage to clothing and equipment, making it a safer choice for children and beginners.
Whether you’re a first-timer or looking for a more relaxed game, low-impact paintball offers a fun and exhilarating way to play while minimising the risk of injury and discomfort, making it perfect for both beginners and experienced players.
The benefits of low-impact paintball include the following:
- Much less sting and no big bruises.
- Less mess and better for the environment ( They are non-toxic and fully bio-degradable)
- They are lighter in weight, so they are easier to carry
- Easier to store and heat, so less energy use.
What do the children need to wear?
It depends if you are playing Paintball or Laser Tag and also the time of the year.
For Paintball, it’s a trade-off between protection and heat on what to wear underneath the combat suit. On a hot day, joggers and a long-sleeved T-shirt may be enough, but it’s up to you. In the colder months you my want to add a jumper. Although not essential, thin gloves are useful for protecting the hands when shot and keeping the fingers warm in the winter.
For Laser Tag, you can wear what you want, as nothing actually hits you. On a hot day, shorts and a T-shirt is perfectly acceptable and you don’t even have to wear overalls.
