Here's what people usually ask about airsoft.
Paintball uses paint-filled pellets that burst on impact — you can see where you’ve been hit. Airsoft uses lightweight 6mm plastic BBs and relies on an honour system where players call their own hits. Airsoft weapons are realistic replicas of real firearms, giving the experience a more authentic military feel. The gameplay tends to be more tactical and slower-paced than paintball.
You’ll feel a tap or light sting when hit, but airsoft BBs are much lighter than paintballs and travel at controlled velocities. With the protective clothing and face protection we provide, most players barely notice. It generally hurts less than paintball.
Airsoft at Campaign is for ages 15 and over. For younger players, we recommend paintball (ages 8+) or laser tag (ages 7+), both of which use the same forest and game zones.
Contact us to discuss. We provide all equipment as standard, but we may accommodate personal weapons depending on the session type. All guns must be chronographed before use and must meet our velocity limits. Two-tone or UKARA-registered weapons only.
Long sleeves, long trousers, and sturdy boots or shoes. Gloves are recommended to protect hands. We provide face protection and goggles. Wear layers — you’ll be moving a lot during games but may want warmth during briefings between rounds. Camouflage or dark colours are fine but not required.
Unlike paintball, airsoft BBs don’t leave a visible mark. Players are expected to call ‘hit’ when they feel an impact and raise their hand to leave the game zone. It’s a system built on honesty and sportsmanship, and it’s what makes the airsoft community respected. Our marshals oversee every game to ensure fair play.
Airsoft sessions typically run for 3–4 hours including kit-up, safety briefing, and multiple game scenarios. Morning and afternoon sessions are available. Contact us for specific scheduling.
Absolutely. We provide all equipment and a comprehensive safety and equipment briefing. Our marshals explain everything clearly and run scenarios that work for mixed-experience groups. Many of our airsoft players are first-timers alongside experienced players — the game zones and marshalled scenarios keep it fun for everyone.
