It can sting a little, but it’s not painful with proper protective gear. Most players say the adrenaline means they barely notice. We provide full body armour and face masks for all players.
We run sessions for ages 8 and up. Mini Paintball (ages 8-10) uses lower-impact .50 calibre paintballs and reduced-power markers. Junior (11-15) plays full-size paintball with appropriate marker settings. Adult sessions (15+) get the full experience across all 12 game zones.
Old clothes you don’t mind getting muddy, comfortable layers, and trainers or boots with grip. Paint washes out of most fabrics but light staining can happen. We provide full coveralls, body armour and a head mask on top of whatever you wear.
Yes — paintball has one of the strongest safety records of any active outdoor sport when run properly. Campaign has operated since 1986 with experienced marshals on every zone, mandatory full face masks, and chronographed markers kept within UKPSF velocity limits.
We play in almost any weather. Light rain often makes the experience better — paint flies further and the forest looks atmospheric. We only cancel for thunderstorms or dangerous winds, and we’ll always rebook you for free if we have to.
Yes — bring picnics, packed lunches, or birthday cake to the on-site party room. We also have a fully stocked café serving hot food, drinks and snacks if you’d rather not bring your own. Birthday parties get a dedicated table for the cake-and-presents bit.
Yes, please book ahead — our slots fill up fast, especially on weekends and during school holidays. We recommend booking 2-3 weeks in advance for parties and weekend slots. Walk-ins are sometimes possible midweek but never guaranteed.
Minimum 8 players for a private session. Smaller groups can join one of our public mixed sessions on weekends, where you’ll be teamed up with other groups. There’s no maximum — we’ve hosted corporate events for 150+ players across our 100 acres.
